Claude 2

Claude 2 was released on July 11, 2023 as Anthropic's second-generation model. It introduced a dramatically expanded context window of 100,000 tokens — among the largest at the time — and improved coding and reasoning capabilities compared to Claude 1. Scored 78.5% on MMLU and 71.2% on HumanEval. Available via API and the claude.ai interface. Superseded by Claude 3 in March 2024.
