[Navigating Transformative AI] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $50,532 to the Centre for the Governance of AI to support a workshop bringing together compute experts from several subfields, such as large-model infrastructure, ASIC design, and governance, to discuss compute governance ideas that could reduce existential risk from artificial intelligence. This falls within our focus area of potential risks from advanced artificial intelligence.
