The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $500,000 to The Greenfield Project, a new group created by Liz Hallinan and Ashley Carr, to push for federal reforms to improve farm animal welfare. The Greenfield Project plans to use this grant to conduct research, build relationships with government officials, build coalitions, and use legal and public relations advocacy to advance farm animal welfare reforms.
