The Open Philanthropy Project recommended five grants totaling $2,772,430 over three years to Animal Equality to support corporate cage-free and broiler welfare campaigns. Animal Equality plans to expand its corporate campaigns in Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the U.S. This is a renewal of our August 2016 grant to launch international cage-free layer hen campaigns, and follows 2017 grants to Animal Equality to support new work in India and advocacy in Europe. It falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
