Stanford University — Research on Science and Innovation (Heidi Williams)

[Innovation Policy] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $599,190 to Stanford University to support a one-year period of research leave for Professor Heidi Williams. During this time, Professor Williams will pursue research collaborations with both public and private science funders in order to investigate potential improvements to scientific funding and research, with the goal of improving both how society supports science and how science benefits society. This falls within our work on scientific research.
