The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $140,000 to the Media Mobilizing Project to support coordination of the Coalition for a Just District Attorney. The coalition seeks to amplify the voices of communities fighting to end mass incarceration, raise the dignity of communities in Philadelphia, maintain public support for decarceration reforms in Philadelphia, and increase justice in the city and nationwide. This is a discretionary grant, and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
