Drugs & Diagnostics for Tropical Diseases — Rapid Diagnostic Tests

[Global Health R&D] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $356,000 to Drugs & Diagnostics for Tropical Diseases to support the purchase of a semi-automated assembler — a piece of equipment that will allow them to manufacture diagnostic tests more rapidly and more affordably. These tests will be used in low- and middle-income countries, including in support of World Health Organization disease-eradication campaigns. This falls within our focus area of global health R&D.
