Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $50,000 to San Francisco Rising to support work on criminal justice reform in San Francisco. San Francisco Rising is a coalition of groups that seeks to organize marginalized communities. Our criminal justice reform team believes that this effort could help improve criminal justice outcomes. This follows our February 2020 support and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
