Notes
[Farm Animal Welfare] Photo courtesy of Fish Welfare Initiative Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $250,000 over two years to the Fish Welfare Initiative to support their work on improving farmed fish welfare in Asia, primarily in India. Tens of billions of fish are farmed globally each year, so identifying promising opportunities to improve their lives is an important goal for our farm animal welfare team. This falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
