Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $15,000 to Families Against Mandatory Minimums (FAMM) for general support. FAMM mobilizes families with incarcerated loved ones serving long sentences to advocate for criminal justice reform measures, such as sentencing reform, prison reform, and compassionate release programs. FAMM intends to use this funding to augment its operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. This falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
