[Global Catastrophic Risks] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £278,488 (approximately $348,993 at the time of conversion) to the Forethought Foundation to support its work to promote academic research on global priorities, i.e. research addressing the question of how to use resources to improve the world as much as possible, especially across the long-run future. This falls within our work on global catastrophic risks.
