The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $515,000 to the Global Animal Partnership to support research into broiler chicken welfare at the University of Guelph. We hope the study will help to identify which breeds of broiler chicken have the best welfare outcomes. This grant follows our April general support and falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare.
