[Criminal Justice Reform] Grant investigator: Chloe Cockburn This page was reviewed but not written by the grant investigator. Just Liberty staff also reviewed this page prior to publication. The Open Philanthropy Project recommended a grant of $100,000 to Just Liberty for general support. Just Liberty intends to use these funds to continue its organizing, lobbying, and outreach activities to build support for criminal justice reform in Texas. Many of its activities appeal to center-right voters, whose voices may be impactful on Republican lawmakers. This discretionary grant follows our January 2018 support and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform. This grant was made by a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, to which we occasionally make funding recommendations.
