[Criminal Justice Reform] Grant investigator: Chloe Cockburn This page was reviewed but not written by the grant investigator. JusticeLA staff also reviewed this page prior to publication. Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $100,000 to JusticeLA, via the Living Through Giving Foundation, for general support. JusticeLA intends to use this funding to maintain its operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, educate the public on the public health dangers posed by Los Angeles County incarceration facilities, and push for decarceration. This follows our August 2019 support for Dignity and Power Now and falls within our focus area of criminal justice reform.
