Swift Centre — Alternative Protein Forecasting

[Farm Animal Welfare] Open Philanthropy recommended a contract of $116,707 with the Swift Centre to support a forecasting project on alternative proteins.  This falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in alternatives to animal products. ​​To learn more about new approaches and strategies, we sometimes make “experimental contracts”, which involve less vetting than our other contracts. This is an experimental contract. The contract amount was updated in June 2025.
