[Science Supporting Biosecurity and Pandemic Preparedness] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $385,000 over 18 months to the University of Utah to support research led by Michael Kay and Debbie Eckert on developing D-peptide antivirals against henipaviruses that have pandemic potential, such as Hendra and Nipah virus.
