Global Priorities Institute — General Support (2023)

[Global Catastrophic Risks] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of £2,065,000 (approximately $2,506,291 at the time of conversion) to the Global Priorities Institute, via the Effective Ventures Foundation UK, to support operational costs. The Global Priorities Institute is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Oxford that conducts foundational cause prioritization research. This follows our August 2022 support and falls within our work on global catastrophic risks.
