[Navigating Transformative AI] Open Philanthropy recommended a gift of $775,000 to UC Berkeley to support the InterACT Laboratory. Led by Anca Dragan, the lab focuses on enabling AI agents to work with, around, and in support of people. We’re also supporting this work with a recent grant to the Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative. This falls within our focus area of potential risks from advanced artificial intelligence.
