[Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $301,800 to the University of Chicago to support the Existential Risk Laboratory (formerly known as the Chicago School of Existential Risk), a summer research fellowship for undergraduate and graduate students focused on reducing existential risks. This follows our May 2023 support and falls within our focus area of Global Catastrophic Risks Capacity Building.
