ProVeg International — Innovation Competitions for Alternative Proteins

[Alternatives to Animal Products] Open Philanthropy recommended a grant of $384,000 over two years to ProVeg International to support innovation competitions for university students, where competitors submit proposals for ways to improve alternative protein products in response to challenges issued by food companies. This falls within our focus area of farm animal welfare, specifically within our interest in alternatives to animal products.
