 Founder & Chief Executive

 
 As Founder and Chief Executive, Angus leads the organisation and works closely with the Board of Directors on its overall strategic direction. 

 A lawyer by training, Angus was formerly Head of External Affairs at the UK Department for International Development, where he also served as a policy adviser and speechwriter in the Secretary of State’s office. 

 Prior to his time in government, Angus was on the Senior Management Team of a leading communications and public affairs consultancy in London, where his clients included the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Carnegie Corporation and the Boston Consulting Group’s Centre for Public Impact. 

 Angus holds a masters degree in Global Governance and Diplomacy from the University of Oxford and was previously a Research Affiliate at Cambridge University’s Centre for the Study of Existential Risk.
