 Bridgewater’s legal team, led by Chief Legal Office and Corporate Secretary Tracey Yurko , has been recognized as one of the most innovative in-house legal teams in North America. Named a standout winner for Commercial and Strategic Advice in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards – North America report, Bridgewater’s legal team was recognized for successfully helping to integrate the power of AI and machine learning to drive innovation in the firm’s investment process.

 In collaboration with Bridgewater’s AIA (Artificial Investment Associate) Labs, our legal experts played a key role in the external launch of a new strategy, which leverages AI and machine learning to drive investment decisions. The Bridgewater legal team worked with the AIA Labs team to ensure full legal and regulatory compliance and draft key risk disclosures for clients.

 Bridgewater’s legal team is critical to the firm continuing to drive innovation and positioning the company to embrace the potential of AI and machine learning, demonstrating the essential role of in-house lawyers.
