New grant announcement and match fund now live

We are pleased to announce today that Open Philanthropy is supporting our work to transform global resilience to extreme risks.

Open Philanthropy is a philanthropic funder with the mission “to help others as much as we can with the resources available to us.”

Open Philanthropy has committed to a grant to CLTR of £4 million over the next three years.

Beyond this, Open Philanthropy will match-fund every £1 from other donors with a further £1, up to £3 million in total.

We are very grateful to Open Philanthropy for its decision to support our work. We believe that there is now a crucial window of opportunity to shape the course of AI and biosecurity — to harness the extraordinary positive potential of new innovative technologies, whilst mitigating the extreme risks they pose.

CLTR is independent and non-partisan, focused on our mission to transform global resilience to extreme risks.

Our match funding campaign is now live.

If you would like to collaborate and  support our work , please reach out to  fundraising@longtermresilience.org or directly to our Director of Strategic Partnerships, Polly Mason, at polly@longtermresilience.org .
