FunderY Combinator is the world's most prominent startup accelerator, founded in 2005. It has funded over 4,000 startups including Airbnb, Stripe, Dropbox, and many AI companies. YC publicly opposed SB 1047, arguing it would harm the startup ecosystem and drive AI innovation out of California. CEO Garry Tan was a vocal critic of the bill.
